Undone

Isa 6:5 reveals that after Isaiah had a personal glimpse of Christ he saw himself undone in Gods presence. Isaiah’s depravity silenced him! This is the beginning point in knowing God; to be totally dependent on God seeing yourself in the light of His glory. A bankrupt spirit He will not despise in Ps 34:18. Weakness must lean on omnipotence to have any spiritual impact. Hudson Taylor spiritual secret of 42 years in China was being – undone; no confidence in the flesh, prostrate before the Lord in His heart. When we are undone nothing is unresolved in our hearts because everything is truly surrendered to Him. He is free to move and we dont wrestle with personal baggage. When surrendered to God the consequences are now the Lords in Romans 12:1-2. Surrender ignites the heart with holy fire. We are forever grateful for the robe of righteousness He clothes us with. Our crippled nature is covered under His precious blood. Today "put on" the new man who after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

"Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you for the LORD is a God of justice; how blessed are all those who long for Him" (Isaiah 30:18). Here God is waiting for our natural strength to be abated so that He can give grace for the situation. God has all the time in the world, and wrestles with us because He loves us. God wrestled with Jacob to bring him to a place of brokenness to bless him. God got him alone and took His time with Jacob because He loved him. God is not too busy for us. He will take His time and love us through our struggles, faults, weakness, etc. Is anything too hard for the LORD? In our struggles we need to hold on to Jesus for the blessing and when we are broken we will have "power with God and with man...."(Genesis 32:24-32). Many blessings come through brokenness, but the greatest blessing is the relationship we develop with our Savior through the breaking process and the liberty we have when it is all done.

In Mark 6:41 there is a progression to the distribution of the bread that applies to each of our lives personally. Three words; bless, break, and give. God wants to bless us and break us so He can "keep giving" our portion to those who are hungry. Only a man that is surrendered to God is available to be distributed to the poor and needy. The bread did not designate who it was given to but the disciples gave the bread out. God will bless us, break us, and bring us to the needy according to His will.

"And without contradiction the less is blessed of the better" (Hebrews 7:7).

"But now hath God set the members every one of them in the Body, as it hath pleased him...For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the Body together, having given more abundant honor to that part which lacked"(1 Corinthians 12:18,24).

It is God who breaks us and brings us to the realization of our bankruptcy. It's God's work of grace that blesses us, breaks us, and brings us to people.
