Friendship

Jn 15:15 is a beautiful picture of Christ in friendship. What a gift that we can be part of peoples lives. The knitting together of hearts with like-mindedness in the Lord. Jesus is a friend of sinners and publicans who looked beyond the faults and loves were the need is; he doesn’t exalt failure but redemption is his WAY. Jesus ministered from a place of fullness and brought more than what was expected to the needy. A Godly friend loves at all times and sticketh closer than a brother and is born for adversity. True friendship is not suspicious but loves extravagantly. A friend is a minister of fire but not an investigator. They speak the truth in love aware of capacity, challenging to go beyond comfort zones and inspires by faith. A friend forgives and is a peacemaker. A friend is careful with their tongue when they speak of others so not to seperate friends. Jesus is our truest friend that will never reject or forsake. Manage your expectations in others for we are all but dust; Look for Christ - the light of fellowship, and give HIS life away.
