Denial

Denial is one of the great tragic lies that satan offers. The flesh hates confrontation and often deflects and likes to bury its head in the sand through rationalization. Confrontation is painful but very healthy. The Holy spirit comes and puts His finger on something and we have the choice to Deny it, surpress it and eventually it turns into an unresolved conflict which breeds confusion and depression. Romans 2.4 say that is is the goodness of God that leads us to repentance...confronted by His goodness we see our depraved state and His loving kindness draws us back to a place of fellowship. Condemnation stems from denial, the avoidance of truth and reality of Gods nature leaves us empty. The escapisms of the enemy only produce self imposed misery. We have the privilege to agree with God and He then increases as we decrease, a direct result of agreeing with truth. Surpression is a delay of an inevitalable confrontation that will happen. Maintaining a lie creates such mental gymnastics. To collapse in the arms of the saviour and say "here I am; Jesus accepts us as we are and the reality of internal freedom is realized. Transparentcy is beautiful in the eyes of God. Embrace Him, dont Hide from Him; Live for the audience on one.
