Bombardment
The other day I thought of this illustration that struck me; of a heavy laden, knee buckling camel that is being yelled at by his master because he is moving to slow. The continuous barrage of words will not move the camel faster; it just causes pressure and strife. To beat the camel will maybe stir him but not for long. He will eventually falter if the weight is not removed. This can be us if we carry life on our shoulders. Heb 12:1-2 “lay aside every weight that easily besets us and let us run!” This is the provision to cast away those issues that cause strife and to exalt grace. We give authority to grace by accepting it by faith in the face of opposition. Isa 25:1 “O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure”. Exalt His thoughts about you and your weights will fall off in Ps 40:5. Isa 59:19 says that God will “raise up a standard against him”, a Grace standard. Ps 91:5-7 A grace covering from the demonic activity that is trying to take you out. Exalt grace and enjoy a “care free” spirit in a fresh anointing, be anointed for the Battle, and the bombardment will not matter – Isa 21:5!
