Quiet Down!

There is so much that comes at us on any given day. It is very possible to wake up and have a list of details and demands that collide with you. It is imperative that we learn to quiet our soul otherwise we will have a driving spirit and no delight. To practice the presence of God right when we arise or through out the day when you feel like your losing control, to sit and be still and bow down before the lord in your heart. I love this picture of bowing down, to fully kneel and have your forehead touch the ground before the Lord in total submission. This happens as we focus on Christ and his promises. We must learn to give authority to the still small voice…we must take our thoughts hostage that cause noise and doubt and disruption in our soul. Anger comes from a noisy soul. Isa 26:3 “Thou wilt keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed [on thee]: because he trusteth in thee”. Job 34:29 "When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble"? Psalms 46.10 "Be still, and know that I [am] God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth". Remember you are being carried by the Almighty God!
