Running on Empty?

God promises fresh oil to norish the soul. Life's pressures can dry out and crack the soul unless fresh oil comes from above. Paul talks about times of refreshing in Act 3:19 - Jesus often would spend time with His father in prayer. He often would move away from "the crowds" and refresh His heart. Stay connected to your finished work idenity of who christ says that you are. We are complete in him and made perfect in His sight in 1 pt 5:10. Running on empty will eventually catch up with you, running on fumes is not a life delighting in the Lord. Take the time and take care of your heart. Take the time and get alone with God and he will teach you to be God-conscious and not task-oriented. You are greatly loved by God! Dan 10:19.
