Stroking a Barracuda
Toleration is such a trap. The flesh debates with sentimentality stating a narrow-minded argument. Pacifying the flesh or others flesh or ideologies that are against God is like stroking a barracuda. The bite is imminent. To go to bed with a snake slithering around under our sheets would be ridiculous! Jn 15:19 and 1 Jn 2:15 are clear: "If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him." Jesus was never tolerant but he operated in unconditional love. He loves the sinner but hated the sin. He was not looking to be popular but to honor his Father. This abrupt difference leads us to life. Christ recognized capacity in people and addressed the real issue - the persons walk with HIM. Today, be a part of and defend the right things - our walk of faith. Dont make friends with a barracuda!
