A Dangerous Buffet

Going to an all you can eat restaurant can be a really good idea when your starving, but overeating can lead to a lot of problems. The food tastes so good going down but it takes time for the stomach to register that it is full, it is easy to have taste overrule intake quantity. Quality food satisfies and fulfills our hunger. Spiritually speaking if we let feelings and sight determine what is right we could eat from the wrong table. We would be "stuffing our face" with doctrine of demons. Doctrines of Demons are when we elevate self above God, there is no personal cross, and we drift from the person and work of Christ to our own personal interpretations outside of absolute truths definition. Relativism creeps in and we become a judge of right and wrong according to our "pea brain" knowledge. God has a perfect provision, He always has a place for us at His Table. The quality of food will satisfy and leave us content - for He was the maker of it.The trap is to think we "know what we need". Truly we need him and he will give the desires of our heart in the fullness of His time. Psalms 37:3 "Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness".
