Liberal Theology

When churches or believers embrace a theology or belief system void of the cross they begin to drift into spiritual death. The devil is actively trying to silence our witness. Our faith is not something like a buffet were we can pick and choose what we will live by or follow what our heart is "telling us". Mt 4:4 Say we must "live by every word that proceed out of his mouth". Feelings can hijack our reality. If we are "married" to our wounds than it will distort everything. If precise doctrine from the bible is not in our focus we WILL be deceived. Deception is very subtle, it will be a lie that is close to the truth and will be justifiable in a pseudo intellectual way, but a lie is a lie no matter how you dress it up! Intellectualism and rationalization that comes from personal interpretation of the truth can spin anyone out of control. Tolerance is such a cop-out when eternal destiny's are at stake. "I don't want to push my faith on anybody" I hear people say this all the time - I would rather communicate Gods life at an in-opportune time than to be standing in the grandstands at the white throne judgment and having some one look over and say "why didn't you tell me"? Their blood will be on our hands. Our witness must be clear - not some subjective smorgasbord. Stand firm on what you believe and don't worry about offense - the cross was incredibly offensive, but death produced life. Liberal Theology has no back bone because it exalts the body and all subjective spheres above the Truth. When we are more concerned about how a person likes us or receives us more than communicating Gods mind than we are upside down spiritually. Lets stand on the truth of the bible and let things fall were they may. As we communicate his mind in love - the consequence are HIs.
