Divine Application - part 2
Our free Will is the most powerful tool we have. God oftens seems to "call out" to our free will to be submitted to His will. Wisdom cries out - Follow Me! In 2 Tim 3:5,7 "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away; Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth". This is a dilema. A form but no power - have you been there? We all have. The cross changes our world; because the flesh is so full of itself it must not be given the privilege to choose for us. A purposed decision to seek the Lord before all decisions we will have His consequence. Here is the key: In Luke 9:23 "And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me". Denying self means that the flesh doesnt have priority - Christ does. We condition our Will with an eternal value system. By faith we keep choosing righteousness and the flesh loses its authority over us. The understanding of Rebound is a much needed - when we fail we turn to Christ and He picks us up and we run to him - as many times as we need. God is not a "bean counter" he doesnt count our failures but our faith steps in Job 31:7. Choose divine life today - do what you know to be Gods will and He will show you the next steps.
