Silence

True silence is when there is a death. Recently at a funeral this thought came to me. This person has nothing to say, do or defend they are in the eternal resting place of God. Often it takes a while for us to unwind and to reconcile our hearts to God, but quietness is the key in preparation to hear God. Our journey and struggles God understands but will we meet him in those times? Will he truly get a hold of us? Will we let him dominate, conquer and silence us in his Son. Don’t fight him, or doubt his goodness trust him as he will be faithful to reduce us only to himself. Communion in silence, break bread with Him today and you will be strengthened. 2 Cor 13:14.
